WE DID IT!

Congratulations and THANK YOU. Together we made history.

Our union was one of THE FIRST to support the Workers’ Rights Amendment. We said we’ve got to get this done now or never, either lead follow or get out of the way. We helped write the Amendment, we helped finance the campaign, and we worked like never before to make sure our membership and the public understood what’s at stake and voted YES on the question.

We are THE FIRST state in the country to cement collective bargaining rights AND ban so-called right-to-work laws in our constitution. Make no mistake, the entire country was watching, and we sent the message loud and clear: Organized Labor is the future of America!

Thanks to all your hard work and support, no politician will ever be able to weaken workers’ rights with the swipe of a pen.
